This is surely a personal favorite. I make the canvasses myself, and in order for the car paint to not suck into the wood I need to prime is really well before I spray it. With this piece I got a particularly nice finish. It's real "glasslike". I made this one is the same time frame as "Shark" and "Man", see the reflection on "Man" as I was taking it's picture. Moon Servant... For me it's got a very mystical feel and looks like some living creature paying its respects to the moon. I did an outline of the image first and then had to fill it in with color. This was a very lengthy process because I had to get the paint very liquid so it wouldn't flow over the outline. What I basically do is, drip a blob of paint in a section, say the big blue eye, and then move this (very thinned, liquid) blob with the backside of a brush to color in the whole section. Enjoy!!!
(All work will arrive rolled up in bubble wrap and covered with carton and/or plywood to prevent breakage)
