A couple of months ago I got some shocking news. An old school friend of mine got involved in some religious sect and her, her brother and fiancé brutally murdered her parents. This is an intelligent, talented girl. This disturbed me immensely as she was a close friend of mine. I've been trying to make sense of it ever since; was this some sort of psychosis or religious extremism. To me it seems very unnatural and inhuman to kill ones parents. Since then I've had some sleepless nights and bad dreams.The one night i dreamt that i actually met Satan face to face and that i had some binding contract with him....This is when I created these "guardians", these Father Christmas, biker-like celestial figures fighting evil. Its strange how when your head and heart isfull, painting happens very impulsively and without thinking, at least without rational thought."
